Versatile Blogger Award .. 1 & 2 Yay!!

Hey friends. I am so pleased to announce that I have been awarded the Versatile Blogger Award twice! I hadn’t even finished writing about the first one when I got the second one so I would be posting this for both of them.

First by my favourite couple Ryan & Becky from One Life, One World.  They are amazing people and are planning a world trip at such a young age. It’s kind of everyone’s dream, right? Read all about their journey and planning here.
And second by Sarish from Sarishboo. She’s very ambitious, beautiful, and a proud American girl. She inspires me in more ways than one. Read all about her spirit here.

I am so thankful to you guys, you have my undying gratitude for considering me for this award. Seriously thank you!

It’s just been 3 weeks since I started this baby. I’m still in the phase of refreshing the page to see if my blog hits have increased, a single like bringing me profound joy. And here I am posting my very first award. This VBA is like a chain letter, being nominated means that you’ve won the award. These awards are a great way to motivate young bloggers like me to keep writing our hearts out πŸ™‚

Okay, so the rules for this award are such that

A) I have to tell 7 things about me to the people who nominated me. So here goes –

  1. I have a deep passion for cricket and some cricketers! Rahul Dravid is the reason I still have faith in society.
  2. I spend 3 hours of my time travelling daily (not because I love travelling but because I live in the most congested city in the world πŸ˜› – Delhi)
  3. I have no qualms about it because I love my work – I am a programmer and love to code.
  4. I love to travel but still don’t know how to ride the most basic mode of transport – a Bicycle 😦
  5. I defeat everyone in Foosball! Nobody beats me in that πŸ˜€
  6. I’m Joey, and I hate to share my food, but I love to cook and feed everybody πŸ˜›
  7. I am very emotional and I can’t fake my feelings. If you feel I like you, trust me you are very important to me.

B) I have to nominate more my fellow bloggers for this award. Here are my nominees –

  1. Happy Rabbit Travels
  2. The World Through My Eyes
  3. The Earthly Brain
  4. A Better Man
  5. Soul Connection
  6. Rilak’s Blog
  7. P.S. Barbosa
  8. Dandelion
  9. Zovision
  10. Ammarah Writes
  11. Just Not Random
  12. Randomness Inked

I enjoy reading all of your blogs and really like being a part of your journey. All the very best to you guys, eagerly waiting to read your responses. πŸ˜€

  1. Snigdha, I loved reading your answers. I can’t believe you spend 3 hours of your day traveling. What do you do during your commutes to keep yourself entertained? I commute about an hour each day (to and from work), so I honestly have nothing to complain about in comparison. Also, I’m so jealous you know Python and Javascript. I’m assuming you studied computer science in college?

    1. Thank you so much Sarish πŸ™‚ Actually, I drive to work, so don’t have much to do.
Although to pass the time, I have my breakfast in the car, and call my Mom during the time πŸ˜› (On bluetooth.. nothing to worry about :P)

    2. And yeah, I studied Computers in college, but I learnt Python and Javascript after it, during my job. You can learn it too.. there are various tutorials available everywhere.
      Are you a techie too?

      1. I’m sure I could learn it/teach myself. It would just take time and dedication I don’t have right now. Maybe in the near future though. Yes, I work in the tech field right now. I love it. I wouldn’t say I’m the most tech savvy person in the world or anything, but I pick up things quickly. πŸ€—

  2. 3 hours commute a day?! Guess I can’t complain about my 1 hr daily commute time then lol. Great to learn a few random facts, remind me never to challenge you in foosball πŸ™‚ Appreciate the nomination a lot but as mentioned I’ve already participated in the Versatile Blogger award so I’ll sit this one out. Look forward to checking out some of the nominees here though and for your future posts!

  3. We’re neighbours. I’m from Noida πŸ˜€
I used to travel 3 hours by metro to North Campus just for 2 hours of my French classes! I know the pain πŸ˜›

      1. And it was quite funny that the duration of classes was just 2 hours.
Sometimes it happened that you reached clg only to know that the class got cancelled. Travelling is a big task if you are living in NCR 😝
